The Earth completed another orbit around the Sun, thus it was time to welcome a new cycle. The eve of the second SUBSTANCES creative competition was not only a hint of what’s yet to come, but an experiment in its own right.

Shaping the evening into an open space for sonic exploration, our team took over Lizdas Sound Institute, illuminating both unexplored and long-forgotten corners of electronic music. The night featured an intense live performance and album debut by our lovely KabaharT, alongside a spectrum of unconventional selections by our team.

To deliberately push the boundaries between EBM and electro, our residents were joined by Integra — last year’s SUBSTANCES competition prizewinner and jury favorite — performing under an alternate alias.

SODAS2123 . VILNIUS

On August 1st, the project moved forward and arrived in Vilnius. Fosfor made its debut at SODAS 2123 — a space where noise feels natural, where concrete absorbs everything but energy, and where creation is allowed to speak for itself.

The night unfolded in dark, dense, broken forms of sound. Carefully selected guests, live performances, and our resident crew shaped the atmosphere, each perspective adding a new layer until it formed a single textured whole.

The mood of the night was carried by Voice Of Tone, Drool, Double The Kugel, Shaltinis, KabaharT and SixStix with Belliger.

Over the years, Lizdas Sound Institute's Academy has grown into more than just a launchpad for emerging artists - it has become an educational platform dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of the electronic music scene and its key aspects.

Therefore, for the grand finale of SUBSTANCES, our creative challenges for fresh producers, we joined forces. The collaboration made sense as we shared the same goals - promoting creativity, building community, and supporting Lithuania's alternative-electronic music culture and its surrounding ecosystem.

On May 24, the project culminated at Kaunas Auditorija and featured performances by finalists Lengvos Kojos, Iliuzija, and IGO, alongside their mentor and scene veteran Calli, and our back2back residents Jeuxusse & Phase Line.

FREUD . KAUNAS

On November 29th, we took our first step outside of Vilnius as a fresh name on the block. Our debut as Fosfor took place in Kaunas, at an alluring club named FREUD — a space that allowed the night to move slowly, darkly, and without excess.

To mark such an occasion, we had a guest of honor - Harmina Klang. Representing Copenhagen's Tenebris Oculum, she brought a focused and uncompromising energy, balancing hermetic textures with heavy drive.

A live performance from KabaharT carried the night forward, while its flow and balance were guided by our residents Clamor x Et Cetera and Jeuxusse x SixStix.
