WORKSHOP
W/ ONEGIN

FROM PATCH TO PERFORMANCE

The SUBSTANCES II creative contest is in full swing, and things are starting to boil. As promised, we’re rolling out a hands-on workshop led by Onegin, focused on modular systems and how to use them to create live performance setups

Whether you make dance music or are just curious about playing live, this session is all about getting your hands dirty and seeing what happens. In the span of two hours, you’ll dive into core modular principles, then jump straight into patching, experimenting, and finding out what actually works in real time.

SUBSTANCES II:
READY, SET,
GO!

WAIT IS OVER — SUBSTANCES II HAS OFFICIALLY LANDED

The second round of our creative contest is ready for producers who aren't afraid to try and with it - a brand-new sample pack, full of fresh sounds, and potential waiting to be unleashed.

Curated by KabaharT and built with fellow sound enthusiasts, Mario Moretti, Ement, Onegin, the pack is a playground of textures, layers, and rhythms — designed to spark ideas and push boundaries.

It's a great chance to create and show your work — especially to producers, journalists, promoters, and other industry pros. On top of that, we've lined up workshops and activities to get your creative juices flowing.

FOSFOR SHOWCASE & A FIRST GLIMPSE AHEAD

With our creative contest brewing on the horizon, we couldn't wait any longer — so on January 17, we got together at Lizdas Sound Institute to give a glimpse of what's coming. We used the night to test ideas and explore the edges and in-betweens of EBM & electro, turning the space into a playground for sound.

Joining our residents in their sonic trials was last year's SUBSTANCES prizewinner and jury favorite, Terminal, appearing under the name Integra. He served some of the tastiest breaks out there, smoothly blending digital selections with vinyl. The event also marked the launch of our very own KabaharT's new album, making it both a listening session and a (not so) small celebration.

The space itself was shaped by Postvisible, a collective of young artists we're happy to collaborate with. Their scenography was built specifically for the night, merging sound and installations into one — no templates, just a response to the space, sound, and moment.

From slow, viscous grooves to fast, uplifting jams, the evening was all about experimenting, listening, and seeing where sound can take you — and, of course, having fun while doing it.

A quaint start before the real noise begins.
